MRI scanners and machines detect the problems in the body that affects the joints, spinal cord, brain, lungs and other parts of the body. The test is safe, painless and requires only 20 to 90 minutes to be completed. But this machine sometimes causes a problem to claustrophobic patients so they need to be sedated to remain completely still during the process. As the test is performed, the machine emits a sound thus earplugs can be worn in order to lessen some noise. MRI scanners are also equipped with music to keep the patients relax during the whole process. After the MRI technician perform the procedure, the radiologist will then review the report or result.

Those who also choose to be a pharmacy technician have to attend a pharmacy technician class that will prepare them in having a career in this field.  It is important to prepare yourself in this career by studying math, science and medical terminologies. These courses are not required in becoming a pharmacist technician but it will give the person the skills and knowledge that they will be able to use during their trainings or on their jobs. The first step on how to become a primary technician is to know what you will need to attend the training classes. Training classes can be through technical colleges, community colleges and universities. The pharmacy training classes will usually be for around one year a person will be receiving classroom training with a licensed pharmacist. A lot of graduates have employment set after they acquire their primary technician certificate. During the whole training, one will learn all the things that he or she needs to know to be competent and productive in doing the job. Once a person has earned a diploma and graduated on the pharmacy technician school, the next step to take is to get a National Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam.  Taking the exam is not mandatory but it will give you an edge when you are looking for a job. When you have passed the exam, you will be called as a certified pharmacy technician. Every two years the person needs to re-certify by taking and completing a ten hour pharmacy technician course.
